Will I have to pay anything at my visit?
Yes. Even if your CDCP coverage is marked as “100%,” it refers to the CDCP fee guide, which is not the same as the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) fee guide used at City Dental on Bay.
You will be responsible for paying the difference between the two fee schedules at the time of your appointment.
⚠️ We cannot issue refunds for services that become ineligible or receive reduced coverage after treatment is completed.
Can I get an estimate before treatment?
Whenever possible, we will submit a pre-determination to Sun Life, the plan administrator for CDCP, to confirm what’s covered. However, in cases where urgent treatment is required—like a broken tooth—we may proceed before receiving a response. In those cases, any uncovered costs will be billed to the patient.
